Brief Description description | Bronze handle from a sacrificial knife decorated with almost identical opposed faces (sometimes described as a janus configuration) with curled drooping moustaches. The figure is wearing a helmet and possibly represents a Portuguese/European soldier. Used during rituals involving animal sacrifice associated with the royal altars. |
