description
A woven cup. Benin City. Date unknown. The cup has a thin base and a thick black border at the lip. It has a lid that has a woven handle attached at opposite sides. There are rings of black and beige weaving, and patches of dark brown weaving along the middle that go against the direction of the weaving in the rest of the object.
