(S.53) [Eintrag bezieht sich vermutlich auf diesen Löffel, Zuordnung der insg. fünf Löffel zur Inventarnennung aber nicht eindeutig] Weickmann-Inventar von 1716, S. 42: "Ein Indianischer Löffel von Helffenbain / an dessen Stihl unterschidliche Figuren von Thieren geschnitten." In der Abschrift aus den Schulakten des Gymnasiums v. 1. Dez. 1836 unter V, Nr.: 52-55 "4 indianische Löffel aus Bein künstlich geschnitzt" (Handschriftlich korrigiert: 5) Im handschriftlichen "Inventarium des Vereins für Kunst und Alterthum" unter der Rubrik "Gegenstände zum Aufbewahren" auf S. 96, Nr. 51-55: "Fünf indianische Löffel von Elfenbein mit wunderlich geschnitztem Stil." (identisch auch in der ungebundenen Inventarliste des AV von 1857). Im "Katalog des Gewerbemuseums / Kunst - und Altertums-Museum der Stadt Ulm", Ulm 1904, S. 28, Nr. 222: "Fünf indianische Löffel aus Elfenbein. Stiele mit geschnitzten phantastischen Tiergestalten verziert. W."
Eingangsart accession method	Zu einem unbek. Zeitpunkt zwischen 1785 und 1825 gelangte die ehem. Sammlung Weickmann in den Besitz der Stadt Ulm.
